Who We Are

The Woman in Waiting International Network (W.i.W.i.N) is a Biblical-centered network that empowers women to discover, embrace, and walk in their God-given purpose. Our mission is to inspire, equip, and support women through biblical teaching, mentorship, skills training, and leadership development, helping them to transition from a season of waiting to a season of flourishing.

From Waiting to Flourishing

A woman in waiting is a woman in a God-ordained season of preparation and expectation. It is a time to trust in God’s perfect timing for the fulfilment of His promises in marriage, ministry, the marketplace, or your career. Instead of idleness, she embraces purposeful growth in her faith and character, serves the Lord, and diligently applies herself to make a positive impact where she is. Every season of waiting is a preparation for influence, impact, and legacy.

Core Principles: W.A.I.T.S

Because waiting is the heartbeat of this ministry, we focus on four core biblical principles. The W.A.I.T. principles are the core biblical foundation of the Woman in Waiting International ministry. They provide a framework for how women should approach a season of preparation and expectation, focusing on active and purposeful growth rather than passive idleness.

W – Wait on God’s Timing: Trusting in God’s perfect plan and schedule, as referenced in Psalm 27:14, which says to “wait for the Lord.” It encourages women to be patient and have faith that He will fulfil His promises for their lives.

A – Apply Preparation in the Waiting: Waiting is not a passive activity. It is a time for diligent preparation and personal growth, both in character and skills. Proverbs 31:25-26 and Esther 2:12, highlight a woman who is clothed with strength and dignity and a queen who prepared herself for a year before meeting the king.

I – Invest in Single-Hearted Devotion: A time of undivided focus on God and service to Him. 1 Corinthians 7:34 encourages women to use their season of waiting to grow their faith and serve others without distraction.

T – Thrive in Faithfulness Where You Are: Encourages women to be fruitful and faithful in their current circumstances, rather than waiting for future promises to be fulfilled before they begin to flourish. Luke 16:10 and the story of Ruth highlight the importance of being faithful in the small things and being diligent in the present moment, as this faithfulness leads to greater opportunities and blessings.
